- 1 to 1.5 Pounds, 1 in Thick Boneless Beef Ribeye Steak (How to Pick Steak)
- Traeger Hickory Pellets
- 1 Purple Cabbage or Fresh Salad
- 1/2 Cup Balsamic Vinaigrette
- Salt and Pepper To Taste
GUIDE / INSTRUCTIONS
Step 1: Prepare Cabbage or Salad
- Red Cabbage or Salad Recipe
Step 2: Prepare and Cook Steak
- Generously salt and lightly pepper steak.
- Let is sit at room temperature for about 1-2 hours.
- Pre-heat Traeger Smoker to 450F.
- Once temperature is reached, add steak and cook for 9 minutes. Do not open mid cooking.
- After 9 minutes, open smoker and flip to other side. Cook for another 9 minutes.
- Remove and let it sit for another 5 to 10 minutes before cutting.
NOTES
Time varies due to steak thickness. I use Traeger Pro Series 22 Wood Pellet Grill Bronze. Serve with purple cabbage or fresh salad.
