Get ready to elevate your burger game! When grinding your own brisket, aim for the perfect balance of 30-40% fat and 60-70% lean, ensuring a juicy and flavorful patty. The fat adds richness and moisture, while the lean provides tender texture. If using store-bought ground beef, try this hack: add a 1/4-inch-thick slice of unsalted organic butter to the patty's center for an irresistible burst of juiciness!

GUIDE / INSTRUCTIONS

Step 1: Prepare BBQ

  • Prepare Traeger to 450 F.

Step 2: Prepare Burger Patties

  • Blend the meat with egg to create a sturdy, hold-together patty.
  • Create 4 patties based on your desired size by creating 4 balls. I create 1=1/2-pound, 1=1/3-pound, 2=1/4 pound. I use food weight scale to get precise measurements. 1/3-pound patty can get a toothpick to prevent from mixing up.
  • (Optional)Add butter to the middle for store bought ground meat.
  • Flatten each ball to about 1/2 thick.
  • Spray 1 side of each patty with organic avocado oil.
  • Put it on the BBQ and cook for 7-9 minutes per side. Do not open mid-way when cooking one of the sides. After flip and cooking for 7 min, add cheese. Cheese is ready in about 1-2 minutes.
  • Remove burgers after cooked through and let it rest for 2-3 minutes.

Step 3: Prepare Side Salad

  • Add spinach to the bowl, corn, and sliced lettuce head.
  • Add dressing my mixing all homemade dressing ingredients together. Mix well with salad.

Step 4: Prepare and Serve

  • Serve salad on the plate.
  • Place burger on top of the Brioche bun.
  • Serve immediately.

NOTES

Cook burgers to an internal temperature of 135°F-160°F, using a thermometer to ensure perfect doneness, and let rest 2-3 minutes before serving.
